A Look Into the Restoration of Historic Litchfield Country Club
Litchfield Country Club has been distinguished as one of the premier low country and Myrtle Beach wedding venues. Although always a historically elegant property, restoration efforts starting in August 2018 were put into effect to modernize this famed wedding setting for today’s bride and groom.
A senior member of the Waccamaw Golf Trail and first golf course in the Pawleys Island/Litchfield area, Litchfield Country Club has stood the test of time as a traditional shotmaker’s course; its clubhouse has been described as “The Hidden Jewel of the Lowcountry”. Although new interior elements have been introduced, Litchfield Country Club was quite careful to retain the original refinements and unique Southern charm which make it stand out amongst its peers.

New, New New!!
Litchfield Country Club’s updates include fresh paint, carpet and hardwood flooring throughout the whole upper level as well as updated artwork. There was also a complete re-do in the bridal and men’s suites.
For the ladies, everything has been done to pamper from the installation of a vanity counter with accouterments which can accommodate up to five ladies to get their hair and makeup done, with 5 outlets, new LED lighting, new wall mirrors, a full-length mirror, privacy screen, hooks on the wall to hang dresses, and new comfy chairs.
The men gained added space to stretch out and new carpet, paint, LED lighting, as well as tables, chairs, and couches, were added.
The enhancements to Litchfield Country Club are meant to ensure that both bride and groom have a relaxing space with friends and family to enhance their special event.
